Short Bio (under 100 words): 

Ian Galipeau is an indie-rock songwriter for hopeful cynics. He weaves empathetic storytelling and careful wordplay into thought-provoking, nuanced songs that fit loosely under “indie rock”, but with strands of Americana to keep you on your toes. His evocative voice and attention to songcraft have drawn comparisons to Hozier and Ben Harper. 

 

He has been playing throughout New England since 2010, sharing stages with touring acts including Arc Iris and Dietrich Strause. The last two years have been his busiest ever -  in addition to playing 100+ shows, he's released an album, an EP, and a handful of singles.
